Speaker Process for Presenting - Zoom

Depending on the complexity of the session the presenters will have to set themselves up prior to 'going live'.
Presenting via Zoom:
We will setup the Zoom meeting prior to the show day and send out to the relevant presenters along with any other relevant URL's, Q&A, Polling for example. You can use Zoom via your browser or you can download the Zoom app for a better experience.
Select “Join with Computer Audio”
Presenter only:
Click the Zoom link and enter the meeting. Your presenter will then be in the 'control room' along with our technician and any other presenters for that session. We will then control and manage the relevant layout for the stream, either full screen presenter or panel with multiple presenters.
Presenting with PowerPoint:
Follow the instructions above.
In PowerPoint the speaker will open their presentation and goes to Slide Show > Set Up Slide Show, then under “Show type”, select “Browsed by an individual (window)”

Then click “Share Screen”
Then select your PowerPoint presentation.

IMPORTANT: Remember to select the PowerPoint rather than the desktop.

You will now be sharing your presentation. To double check that you are sharing your presentation, there will be a green border surrounding your PowerPoint presentation as per the example below.
IMPORTANT: When not presenting ensure to mute the microphone as this could interrupt the current presentation and ensure the webcam is always enabled as this can affect the layouts for the live stream.
